less than a week left

what has it taken to get here? it's been a year since the first big life change - being laid off and "failing" for the first time in my life...then suffering through the gmat, questioning myself through dozens of revisions through application essays, breaking the news to my semi new employer & attempting to be a good transitioner again, and finally driving across the country. it feels like I had more than a year's worth of changes crammed into one.

in any case, to do list today seems to keep going.... we're hoping to have a housewarming since we're almost done with the apartment (think 2 girls & a u haul to get our couch yesterday from craigslist!).... I need to obtain a vga connector to use the extra monitor I purchased; I'm hoping this will be useful to run my virtual Windows machine in order to get some of the "computer applications" pre-work assignments done. there's also a ton of reading.... and little things - like maybe cleaning up my facebook friends list, overdue yelp reviews, putting up pictures/decorating my room, etc.  Seems like it never ends! (And I have less days to do this since my mother is visiting and we're off to a wedding right before orientation....)
